Chris Hutchings | BVSc, MACVSc

Chris graduated from Massey University and has been practising for over 35 years in private dairy and companion animal practices in Morrinsville and Stratford. He is a former president and board member of the New Zealand Veterinary Association, and in 2008 was awarded the New Zealand Veterinary Association Annual Service Award for services to the profession. Chris had been a member of the MVS Farm team since 2003, and his special areas of interest are surgery, bovine medicine, BVD and veterinary ethics.

In June 2016 Chris left MVS to be closer to home so he could enjoy more time with his gorgeous granddaughter Tillie and his family.
