Organise your Spring Tail Paint ASAP
September 16, 2020
Following feedback from our clients, we are going to be sending out more timely reminders at important times through the season.
So for those farmers who have not yet tail painted cows, this is a reminder to ensure heat detection aids – tail paint/scratchies/k-mars are ready to go on.
For most people we recommend you have your tail paint on for 4 to 5 weeks prior to the start of mating to allow you to determine how many of your cows are actually cycling prior to the PSM.
For those of you doing Why Wait plans, ensure you know your dates for when to change tail paint colour.
